Georgetown earned 22 points from the league's seven coaches to earn the fourth-place position. The University of Denver was picked first with 35 points and five first-place votes while UConn was picked second with 31 points and one first-place vote followed by Villanova at third with 24 points and one first-place vote. Marquette landed in fifth place with 18 points while Butler collected 11 points to finish sixth and Xavier rounded out the poll in seventh with six points.
