WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's soccer team welcomed the newest member of the program on Thursday as 9-year-old Dapheria-Marie officially became a Hoya. Dapheria, who hails from Washington, D.C. joined the women's soccer program through Team IMPACT
At a press conference at Children's National in front of her family, new teammates, coaches and other members of the Children's National community, Dapheria officially signed his national letter of intent (NLI) and donned the Blue & Gray, officially becoming a Hoya. As a member of the program, Dapheria will attend Georgetown practices, games and other team events.
