Eight Hoyas Selected to All-Patriot League Teams

WASHINGTON –  The Georgetown University football team received eight All-Patriot League selections as announced by the league office on Tuesday. Jimmy Kibble and Cooper Blomstrom earned First Team selections, while Savion Hart, Kaysen Mahuka-Kaawa, GianCarlo Rufo, Chigozie Oge-Evans, Naiteiti Mose and Quincy Briggs were named to the Second Team. 

Jimmy Kibble | First Team Offense | Sr. | WR 
  • The senior was named team captain of the Hoyas. 
  • Kibble started in all 12 games for GU. 
  • He led the Hoyas and was second in the Patriot League with 63 receptions for 1002 yards and four touchdowns. 
  • For the first time in his career, Kibble recorded 1000 receiving yards. He finishes his GU career fourth in program history with 2593 career receiving yards. 
  • Kibble's longest reception was a 49-yard Hail Mary pass that won the game against Morgan State. 
  • He recorded a season high of 141 receiving yards against Colgate. 
  • Kibble was named a 2025 William V. Campbell Trophy Semifinalist. 
  • At the beginning of the season, he was named to the 2025 Patriot League Preseason All-League Team.
Cooper Blomstrom | First Team Defense | Jr. | DL
  • Blomstrom was a starter in all 12 games for the Hoyas. 
  • He led GU with 7.5 sacks for a loss of 46 yards and recorded a career high of 4.5 sacks against Fordham. 
  • The defensive lineman also led the Hoyas with 11 quarterback hurries. 
  • On the season, Blomstrom recorded 47 tackles (23 solo, 24 assists) and three forced fumbles. 
  • At the beginning of the season, he was named to the 2025 Patriot League Preseason All-League Team.
Savion Hart | Second Team Offense | So. | RB
  • Hart started in all 12 games for the Hoyas. 
  • The sophomore led the Georgetown ground game with 176 rushes for 818 yards and 10 touchdowns. His longest rush was for a 69-yard touchdown against Davidson. 
  • Hart also recorded 14 receptions for 223 yards and two touchdowns. His longest reception was a 73-yard touchdown at Davidson. 
  • The sophomore recorded a career high of three touchdowns in the win at Davidson to open the 2025 season. 
Kaysen Mahuka-Kaawa | Second Team Offense | Grad. | OL
  • Started in 11 games for the Hoyas. 
  • Contributed to the offensive line that was second in the league in time of possession (31:21 per game).
  • The offensive line allowed the Hoya run game to average 142.3 yards per game and 3.6 yards per attempt. 
Chigozie Oge-Evans | Second Team Defense | Jr. | DL
  • Played in all 12 games for the Hoyas.
  • The junior recorded a career high of 27 tackles (18 solo, 9 assists) on the season.
  • He recorded four sacks for a loss of 26 yards, one pass breakup and one forced fumble. 
Naiteitei Mose | Second Team Defense | Sr. | LB
  • Mose played in all 12 games for the Hoyas. 
  • The senior recorded a career high of 63 tackles (40 solo, 23 assists) on the season and a high of 13 tackles against Colgate. 
  • The linebacker returned an interception 65 yards for a touchdown to secure a victory for the Hoyas at Bucknell. 
  • Mose also recorded one sack for a loss of seven yards, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries and five quarterback hurries. 
GianCarlo Rufo | Second Team Defense | Jr. | LB
  • The junior was named team captain of the Hoyas. 
  • Started in all 12 games for the Hoyas. 
  • For the first time in his career, Rufo recorded 100 tackles (57 solo, 46 assists). 
  • The junior also recorded 7 TFLS for a loss of 23 yards and 1.5 sacks for a loss of 13 yards. 
  • Rufo recorded a season high of 14 tackles against Colgate. 
  • At the beginning of the season, he was named to the 2025 Patriot League Preseason All-League Team.
Quincy Briggs | Second Team Defense | Jr. | DB
  • Briggs played in all 12 games for the Hoyas. 
  • The junior led the Patriot League and was second in the nation with five interceptions. 
  • He recorded a season high of two interceptions against Wagner.
  • Briggs recorded 33 tackles (23 solo, 10 assists), one quarterback hurry and six pass breakups.
