WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's men's lacrosse team hits the road for a nonconference game at Brown in Providence, Rhode Island on Saturday afternoon. The 10th-ranked Hoyas are playing just their second game away from the Hilltop this season against the Bears.

- The Hoyas are ranked No. 10 in both the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Coaches Poll and the KANE Inside Lacrosse Media Poll after four weeks of action.
- Georgetown is coming off a tough 11-9 setback to top-ranked Notre Dame last Saturday.
- Aidan Carroll and Fulton Bayman led Georgetown with two goals and an assist each against the Fighting Irish while Joe Cesare added two goals as well. Jordan Wray had a goal and an assist while Jack Ransom scored Georgetown's first man-up goal of the year courtesy of an assist from Shuey Kelly.
- Defensively, Ty Banks was credited with four caused turnovers while George Acton and Robert Plath both had two.

- On the season, Bayman leads the Hoyas with 13 points (8G, 5A) while Carroll has 11 (5G, 6A). Cesare and Wray both have seven points on the year.

- Ross Prince has won 43-of-71 (.606) faceoffs on the season.
- In goal, Moore boasts an 8.57 goals-against average with a .485 save percentage and 32 saves.
Scouting Brown
- Brown (1-2) is coming off its first win under first-year head coach Jon Torpey following a 7-6 win against Providence.
- Aidan McLane leads the Bears with seven points (6G, 1A) while Marcus Wertheim adds six (4G, 2A).
- Defensively, Charlie Cave has been credited with four caused turnovers and leads all non-faceoff specialists with seven ground balls.
- Dash Sachs has taken the lion's share of faceoffs, winning 22 of 42 (.524) attempts on the year with 11 ground balls.
- In goal, Connor Foley has played all but 91 seconds between the pipes, posting an 8.40 GAA to go with a .653 save percentage and 47 saves.
Series History
- Georgetown and Brown have played six times before, including an 11-5 Hoya victory last year on the Hilltop.
- The Blue & Gray holds a 6-0 series lead and has won the only game played in Providence – a 12-11 win in 2003.
- Torpey is no stranger to playing the Hoyas, having served as the inaugural head coach at High Point.
- The Hoyas are 3-1 all-time against Torpey-led teams, including a 14-8 win against HPU in 2024.
