Women’s Lacrosse Hosts Cincinnati

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown women's lacrosse team (4-4) will host Cincinnati (7-3) on Friday, March 21. The opening draw is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Cooper Field.

ABOUT THE HOYAS
  • The Hoyas are coming off a 20-14 victory at Delaware on Saturday, March 8. 
  • Offensively, Hanna Bishop leads the Hoyas with 28 points (14G, 14A) while Gracie Driggs leads in goals with 21. 
  • Freshman Sophia Loschert has recorded 13 points (11G, 2A) this season and tied her season high of three goals against Loyola Maryland.
  • Driggs commands the circle for the Hoyas with 44 draw controls while Lily Athanas follows with 21.
  • Christina King leads the defense with nine caused turnovers.

  • The Bearcats are coming off a 13-10 victory at Mount St. Mary's on Monday, March 17.

  • Paige Selhorn follows with 45 points (11G, 34A) while Camryn Callaghan has tallied 33 goals on the season.
  • At the draw, Hailey Joy Simpson leads the squad with 33 draw controls followed by Lexie Wolfe with 29.
  • In net, Hailey Darko leads the team with 61 saves for a .401 save percentage.
ABOUT THE MATCHUP
  • Saturday's contest will be the 11th meeting for the Hoyas and the Bearcats, dating back to 2009
