WASHINGTON – The Georgetown women's lacrosse team (7-6, 2-1 BE) will host BIG EAST foe Butler (0-10, 0-4 BE) on Saturday, April 8. The opening draw is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Cooper Field. The Hoyas will also be honoring the women's lacrosse alumni in a halftime ceremony during the game.

- The Hoyas are coming off a 16-11 setback to JMU on Wednesday afternoon.
- Against the Dukes, Gracie Driggs led the Hoyas with six goals and seven draw controls, while BIG EAST Freshman of the Week, Sophia Loschert, added two goals. Anne McGovern, Hanna Bishop and Ziegler each added one, while McGovern also led with five helpers.
- On the season, Bishop leads the Hoyas with 48 points (23G, 25A) while Driggs leads with 39 goals.
- Bishop and McGovern are the leading playmakers for GU with 25 assists each.

- Saturday's contest will be the ninth meeting for the Hoyas and the Bulldogs, dating back to 2017.
