Georgetown earned 24 points from the league's seven coaches to earn the fourth-place position. The University of Denver was picked first with 36 points and six first-place votes, while Villanova was picked second with 28 points followed by UConn at third with 26 points and one first-place vote. Marquette landed in fifth place with 16 points, while Butler collected 11 points to finish sixth, and Xavier rounded out the poll in seventh with six points.
