Gracie Driggs Added to Tewaaraton Award Watch List

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University women's lacrosse standout Gracie Driggs was added to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List, as announced by The Tewaaraton Foundation on Thursday. Driggs is the first Hoya from the women's program this season to earn a spot for consideration of the prestigious honor.

Founded in 2001, The Tewaaraton Award annually honors the top male and female college lacrosse players in the United States. The selection committees are made up of premier collegiate coaches and are appointed annually by The Tewaaraton Foundation.
Currently in her senior season, Driggs has been a primary producer for the Hoya attack, recently reaching a major career milestone by netting her 100th career goal against No. 2/3 Maryland. Through six games, Driggs leads the Hoyas with 16 goals and remains a dual-threat for the Blue & Gray, pacing the team with 21 draw controls.

Driggs has recorded three hat tricks already this season, highlighted by four-goal performances in a road win over Johns Hopkins and yesterday's matchup against Loyola.

In addition to her scoring and success at the draw circle, Driggs has been a regular on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll this season. Her veteran presence on the field has been vital to the Hoyas' success throughout the early 2026 campaign.
