WASHINGTON – Georgetown University baseball's Luke Jackman was named to the BIG EAST weekly honor roll, as announced by the league office in New York on Monday. The award comes after a 2-2 week for the Hoyas that saw a 2-1 series win over the George Mason University Patriots. The honors mark the Blue & Gray's sixth recognition from the league and Jackman's first nod this season.
LUKE JACKMAN (GRADUATE STUDENT / RHP / MCLEAN, VA.) - BIG EAST HONOR ROLL
- Jackman earned a pair of saves, his third and fourth of the season, against George Mason.
- The graduate student pitched 3.1 innings total, striking out a batter and gave up no runs.
- This is Jackman's first accolade from the league this season and first in his career.
