Jake Carraway Named 2021 Tewaaraton Award Nominee

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's Jake Carraway was named as one of 25 nominees for the prestigious Tewaaraton Award, as announced by the Tewaaraton Foundation on Thursday. The Tewaaraton Award is recognized as the preeminent lacrosse award, annually honoring the top male and female college lacrosse player in the United States.

  • Broke Georgetown's program records for career points (260) and goals (178).
  • Named the US Lacrosse National Player of the Week once this season and was selected to the USILA National Team of the Week twice.
  • Ranks seventh in the NCAA and leads the BIG EAST in goals per game (3.78) and is 12th nationally and tops in the conference in points per game (5.11).
 
Named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List in 2019, 2020 and 2021, Carraway is one of only nine Georgetown players to reach the top 25.
